This picture of Jenny and Grandma reminds me of many fond memories of walking to the corner of 9th So. and 3rd E. and watching the 4th of July Parade. Then the wonderful food at Grandma's house that night for the fireworks: cold meatloaf sandwiches, hot dogs, potato salad, and applesauce cookies with brown sugar icing!

I love the picture of the home.
I'll never forget 143 Hampton Ave.
The first time I ever met Grandma and Grandpa Starich was on July 24 1969. Greg took me to the parade and we parked at her house. Can"t believe that was 40 years ago I do remember the cookies.
