Pretty Bev, in her very much loved pedal pushers sewn with carefully matched plaid by
Grandma DeNiece.
Grandma says that she took a free class at ZCMI on how to match the plaids. The class came with the purchase of fabric. She loved copying expensive clothes for her girls with her sewing machine.

I'm thinking that she is around fifteen years old. Ted ask me her age. I'm also thinking that we were on our way to Denver. It could have been California. I'm not certain.
