We had a wonderful dinner together. All the Grandchildren were invited. A huge winter storm prevented many from being able to attend. We missed you, but had a delightful time. Grandma's friend Helen joined our group. We honored Grandma by presenting the family birthday calendar to her. She was thrilled with it and spent at least an hour after dinner going over it and enjoying each picture. Thanks to the family for providing pictures. We gave her a card, from all of you, that thanked her for keeping the family close, and loving each one of us so much. We look forward to a much larger gathering for her birthday. She will turn 98 on January 5th. The large room at Cottonwood has been reserved and everyone is invited. Paula is spear-heading this event. See her for dates and all. Thanks Paula! See you all there.

Sorry to miss the fun. I stayed home and piled on the blankets to get warmed up after shoveling the driveway. Finally got warm around 10pm. Still the big snowstorm was an adventure! Love to you all.
The Christmas dinner get-together was very nice. The huge snow storm that evening kept a lot of people off of the roads.
The birthday calendar that Pat made is a "must see" item. Pat did an excellent job in putting together the pictures that everyone sent in. It is a calendar that everyone would enjoy, because everyone has a 'starring role" in it! Watching Grandma enjoy looking at all of the family pictures warmed all of our hearts!
